Head of Revenues & Benefits Lead

Allen Lane is supporting Liberata UK in their search for a permanent Head of Revenues & Benefits Lead . Salary: £90,000-£105,000 (plus car allowance of £6,143 per annum) Working hours: Permanent / Full-time Benefits: 25 days annual leave; private medical; life assurance Hybrid working: 2-3 days per week in the office (London area) The role will be responsible for managing Liberata’s London contracts. There will be a requirement to regularly attend our London offices, and the remainder of the post holder’s time could be spent working remotely. Liberata is one of the UK’s leading managed service providers of innovative solutions to the Government, the wider public sector, and commercial organisations. For nearly 50 years, it has been offering business process outsourcing (BPO) and support services across Customer Services, Finance & Accounting, Payroll and Revenues & Benefits. The remit of this role includes operational management of the London Revenue and Benefits Team, the management of stakeholder relationships, and the use of transformational change to drive continuous improvement in service performance. This role requires an individual with a proven track record of successfully managing a Revenues and Benefits service who demonstrates the ability to deliver high standards of service delivery while balancing Liberata’s commercial interests . The individual must have excellent communication and management skills to build effective relationships both internally within Liberata and externally within client and business partner organisations. In this role, you will be responsible for c.70 staff across the London estate – you will have experience motivating and delivering with purpose, ensuring service levels are adhered to. You will also demonstrate commerciality and gravitas to engage with clients effectively. Ideally applicants will have system experience with the NEC/IWorld and/or Capita One. You will also demonstrate a keen interest in automation, AI and robotics with a view to embracing technology to improve and innovate public services. About the role Identification of key activities and priorities across Revenues and Benefits services. To monitor and review service levels, financial performance, and Key Performance Indicators to ensure operational effectiveness and assist Liberata in developing a leading position in the market. Implement and communicate operational strategies and solutions in line with the business plan. To meet/exceed profitability, revenue & cash-flow targets. To develop an effective relationship with key internal and external stakeholders. To meet agreed targets for delivering organic growth from existing client base. To represent Liberata externally to clients, prospects, industry bodies and other third parties. About you To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following essential criteria: A degree-level education or an equivalent level of experience. A relevant professional qualification (e.g. IRRV) is desirable. A proven track record of sucesssfully managing a Revenues and Benefits service. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders. Experience of improving performance in a service environment. Sound problem solving and decision-making skills. The ability to proactively identify and anticipate customer needs/expectations and build proposed solutions.
