Japanese travel company is looking for an account executive.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare action plans and identify specific targets
- Present and sell our services to current and potential clients
- Create travel plans in accordance with clients’ requirements
- Research the best options for hotels, places to visit, and dining options
- Obtain quotations for flights, entertainment, events, accommodation, meeting rooms, and transfers
- Prepare presentations, proposals, quotations, and sales contracts
- Follow up with potential clients to secure orders
- Negotiate with suppliers to meet clients’ needs for tours
- Follow up for payment collection and invoice preparation
- Conduct sales calls/visits to acquire new clients as needed
- Prepare presentations using PowerPoint, Excel, or Word
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken and written English (native level); Japanese is not necessary but preferred
- Experience in the travel industry, particularly in sales and operations for at least a few years
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
- Ability to develop new business
