Senior Civil Engineer – required for our client, a well-established and close team based on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. The Senior Civil Engineer will be working for a company that has over 85% of repeat business and a strong pipeline of work. The Civil Engineer will be working on projects over £200m in value across Healthcare, Commercial, Retail, Heritage, and the Leisure sectors.

Responsibilities:
- Technical designs for both new build and refurbishment projects
- Lead the team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes
- Preparation of reports, e.g. Flood Risk and Drainage Assessments, Transport Assessments
- Preparation of technical specifications
- Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to a conclusion
- Ensure quality control and question whether carbon footprint can be reduced within design
- Attend design team meetings and site visits
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree Qualified within Civil Engineering or a similar discipline
- Chartered, or currently approaching chartered status with the ICE
- Experience in leading a design team
- Technically strong in civil engineering
- Experience with SUDs design, from concept through to implementation
- Must have AutoCAD and Microdrainage/Infodrainage, and ideally Civils 3D
- Experience within highways, public realm, and the civil engineering industry
- Knowledge of BIM processes
- Over 7 years’ experience in infrastructure design
- Full UK Driving Licence
