Wine Director – Up to £120,000

The Role:

We would like to present a fantastic opportunity for the best Wine Director to join a luxury private members club. We are looking for someone to oversee the day-to-day wine operations for the venue. You will have to maintain and develop the principles and values across all aspects of the business. You will be training teams and build a world-class wine program.

Successful candidates will have:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial direction of all wine programs, in terms of product range, stock management, gross margin and offering to suit the Club demographic.
  • Drive wine sales across the business and deliver gross margin.
  • Build excellent relationships with all suppliers, leverage buying power to improve cost of sales and secure sponsorship for key marketing activities and member events.
  • Lead and inspire the team to achieve outstanding levels of hospitality.
  • Maintain and deliver excellent brand standards, through thorough understanding and delivery of the company culture, values and offerings.
