CNC Turner - Setter, Operator

JRS Associates have partnered with an innovative precision engineering company in the local area to find a skilled CNC Turner – Setter, Operator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-tolerance machining environment, producing high-value components from exotic alloys. Package: * Salary: £27,000 – £28,000 per annum (DOE) + 16% shift allowance * Shift Pattern: * Mornings: 6am – 2pm, Monday to Friday * Afternoons: 2pm – 11pm (Mon-Wed), 2pm – 10:30pm (Thu), 2pm – 6pm (Fri) * Benefits: * 4% contributory pension scheme * 3x life cover * Modern, clean working environment * Free onsite parking Key Responsibilities: * Operate, set, and adjust CNC turning machines to produce high-value components. * Machine precision parts from exotic alloys to tight tolerances. * Perform routine maintenance and health and safety checks on equipment. * Collaborate with the team to meet production schedules and maintain quality standards. * Maintain high levels of housekeeping and adhere to all HSE policies. Requirements: * Experience with small to medium CNC turning operations. * Familiarity with Okuma OSP, Fanuc, and Mazatrol CNC systems (preferred). * Knowledge of machining processes, including tooling, offsets, and quality checks. * Strong attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication skills. * Proficient in MS Office and able to work within a close-knit team.
