Travelers Europe is seeking a Business Analyst, with experience working in an Insurance environment, to join our team in London! As part of the Strategic Planning and Execution team, you will help the team and work alongside other Business Analysts on our change portfolio. You will work closely with colleagues across the business along with Product Owners and Project Managers. You will report to the Senior Manager for Business Analysis. Your main responsibilities will include gathering information from different parts of the organisation in order to help deliver the right solutions for the business. You will therefore need to be confident in interviewing stakeholders and customers. We are looking for someone who is keen to understand and learn about the creation and delivery of solutions as well as learn and develop skills associated with the technical specifications required. Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full-time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro-rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion. This role is eligible for a £1,500 new joiner referral bonus. If you are successfully referred by an employee at Travelers Europe, both you and the person who referred you could be eligible for this bonus. What Will You Do? Collect, understand, document, validate and communicate the business requirements for the product work Build specifications in line with third-party requirements Document business processes Coordinate and perform user acceptance testing Perform ad hoc analysis to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues Work with supervision from project manager or product owner Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members, third parties and management to ensure all requirements are understood Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements Identify, document and track benefits Assist the project manager and product owner in delivering key project deliverables Liaise with the project manager in formulating project and task plans Perform other duties as assigned. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? Use of agile tools (e.g., Rally, Jira) Good understanding and practice of the software development lifecycle Experience of working in commercial or syndicate insurance Knowledge of third-party SaaS systems such as Acturis Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) Diploma in Business Analysis or other modules that contribute to this diploma What is a Must Have? Demonstrable project experience of working in business analysis within Insurance. What Is in It for You?
