Management Accountant - Luxury Leisure Company

Your new company
A high-end, ultra-luxury leisure company is looking to hire a Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. You’ll play an important role, handling the management accounts & month-reporting for the business, as well as some commercial duties such as assisting with budgeting & forecasting and some analysis work. You’ll ideally be an industry trained / experienced candidate with exposure to month-end duties & management accounts, open on sector.

Your new role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll be responsible for:

• Play a key role in the production and delivery of the monthly management accounts
• Responsibility for the production and analysis of the balance sheet ensuring key monthly balance sheet reconciliations are maintained and analysed
• Authorising payments via bank transfer
• Preparation and presentation of funding requests to clients
• Providing monthly analysis on financial performance for operations and capital expenditure
• Review of accruals and prepayments
• Playing a key role in system development and improvements
• Implementation of company policies and procedures where required and application of best accounting practice and treatment
• Ad hoc reporting

What you’ll need to succeed

You’ll be a Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with experience with management accounts & month-end duties. Open on sector background, however leisure background would be a bonus.
