The opportunity An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and Training Manager (SHEQT), to become responsible for developing, managing and leading improvements to all SHEQ, Training and Manufacturing Excellence processes, where you will ensure compliance with internal, shareholder & statutory requirements. The salary will be dependent on experience, but you will also be entitled to a wide range of benefits including additional 5 days holiday, company pension alongside a generous employer contribution, excellent healthcare, including access to BUPA, plus many more. The role As a SHEQT Manager, the scope of the role will involve you being responsible for a plant which is a top-tier COMAH facility with a range of operations and engineering specialisms. You will have access to the Site SHEQT department, but this is a standalone role and a site based Role. Your duties and responsibilities will be Lead the execution of the client SHE policy and standards including preparing for and leading the TAR SHE Management process. Act as the expert for Q&E management systems, identifying areas for improvement and providing guidance Manage all SLA’s and the audit process to ensure compliance and lead corrective actions and improvements. Develop and implement a training and development plan across client. Develop and lead the delivery of a sustainable manufacturing improvement process.You will have the following qualifications and experience Occupational SHE professional with significant operational experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing. A recognised SHE qualification is preferred. Understanding of process and shift operations. Knowledge and experience of the ISO standards & BSI processes. Experience of managing SLAs across company interfaces.. Experienced in leading manufacturing excellence activities. Able to develop and deliver a learning and development strategy in an operational context. Skilled influencer at all levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
