Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a new challenge? U-educate are currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants for a Secondary School based in Gosport, PO12. We have several learning support roles available at this setting. They are all full time, temp to perm roles with immediate starts. Job Description * Lesson Assistance: Work alongside the lead teacher to prepare materials and support lesson delivery. * Oneon-One Tutoring: Provide tailored support to students who require additional help grasping the subject matter. * Behavioural Support: Help manage classroom behaviour to create a conducive learning atmosphere. * Inclusive Education: Promote a sense of belonging for all students, particularly those with special educational needs. * Peer Interaction: Encourage and facilitating positive interactions between students. * RecordKeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and specific needs. * Resource Management: Assist in the organisation and preparation of teaching resources. * Supporting Children with Special Educational Needs: Many students have unique learning requirements, such as special educational needs (SEN). Learning Support Assistants provide tailored support to help these children achieve their full potential. Requirements * Previous learning/classroom support experience * Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children * Up to date Safeguarding Training (You can undertake a free course with Ueducate if you have not got a safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months) We are very keen to speak with candidates who are interested in this role and feel that they meet the requirements stated above.
