Worldpay demonstrates its dedication to data-driven decision-making by establishing and investing in a Workforce Analytics Team. This new team member will join two enthusiastic colleagues who are eager to guide the team from foundational efforts to exciting analytical projects. The UK-based manager, with over 20 years of experience in the field, is keen to collaborate with analysts who push boundaries, take ownership of projects, and deliver outstanding work while building key relationships with various customers.
Play a vital role in supporting data-driven decision-making and providing valuable insights to the People & Culture (HR) function. Focus will be on collecting, analysing, and interpreting people data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving People & Culture (HR) processes, workforce planning and other strategic initiatives. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to translate complex people data into meaningful reports and presentations.
What you will own:
- Collect and analyse people data from various sources, including Workday, Google Analytics, Surveys, and other relevant systems.
- Report on key metrics across the employee life cycle (e.g. growth, time to fill, turnover).
- Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights related to people metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct statistical analyses to support People & Culture (HR) initiatives and identify potential risks or opportunities.
- Develop and maintain People & Culture (HR) dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate people data and insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with People & Culture, Finance and Business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop customized reports and analytics to meet their needs.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive People & Culture (HR) initiatives.
- Monitor people data to identify data anomalies, outliers, and data quality issues, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Participate in People & Culture (HR) projects and initiatives providing data analytics subject matter expertise.
- Provide training and guidance to People & Culture (HR) team members on data analysis tools and techniques.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in data analysis.
What you will bring:
- Proven experience as a People Analyst or similar role, with expertise in data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex people data sets.
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms, to create compelling dashboards and reports.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and their data structures, including data extraction and manipulation. Direct experience with Workday Prism, Workday Discovery Boards, Workday Adaptive would be advantageous.
- Analytical with an understanding of a broad range of statistical analysis techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling and analyzing people data.
- Ability to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to effectively communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with people data analysis trends, tools, and best practices.
- Experience of financial or workforce planning is a plus.
- Experience in the HR domain or working closely with HR stakeholders is preferred.
