V&V Lead Engineer

Copello have partnered with an established defence engineering business based in Bristol in the recruitment of a V&V Engineer Lead.

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK National with British citizenship (if applicable).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of systems engineers to ensure certification deliveries are on time.
2. Oversee the delivery of Certificates of Design into the Land Ceptor programme.
3. Assess evidence from various sources and adapt to new challenges.
4. Use experience with DOORS and requirements management processes to manage project plans and timelines.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

1. Strong background in systems engineering processes.
2. Experience managing teams and ensuring successful programme delivery.
3. Knowledge of DOORS and requirements management.
4. Ability to organize and lead a small team to meet project deadlines efficiently.
