We have a current opportunity for a Microsoft Windows Azure DevOps engineer on a contract basis. The position will be based in London. For further information about this position please apply.
You will be working alongside a team of AWS and Azure SRE Engineers who support Cloud platforms, developer ecosystem and various business critical services.
About the job:
- Automate the build and upgrade of MS Windows VM’s within our Azure Cloud Platform.
- Perform migration activities of existing services to the new infrastructure.
- Work with stakeholders such as Infosec, Strategy and Architecture and T&N to ensure we deliver to their standards and specifications.
- Provide guidance on Cloud Best Practises.
- Work with our Cloud Engineering and DevOps teams to fully document the process.
- Implement performance and reliability monitoring on servers and services.
Required Skills
- 5 or more years of sysadmin experience.
- 3 or more years experience of Azure Cloud Computing.
- Expert Windows skills.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Bicep and Puppet.
- Good understanding of network security, firewalls, ACLs and IDSs.
- Experience with a scripting language like Powershell or Python.
- Experience with continuous integration systems.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience of running highly available high traffic web services.
- Expert problem-solving skills.
