FE Metcalfe is a truly independent firm of Chartered Accountants. Based in Ripon with 5 Directors, they provide a full range of accounting and tax services to support their individual and business clients across a wide range of market sectors.

As a result of succession planning, they are looking to appoint an Equity Director.

Key duties:

  • Take on an existing portfolio of clients in a client-facing advisory capacity.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with clients, aiming to become their trusted advisor on a wide range of issues including accounting, tax, and business planning.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities.
  • Drive the office’s growth and strategic direction, identifying opportunities for expansion and development.
  • Oversee the delivery of both compliance and advisory projects, ensuring high standards of service and quality are maintained.
  • Part of management team planning to deliver business objectives.
  • Play a pivotal role in the future development and direction of this successful independent accountancy firm.
  • Supporting and developing a strong current team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ACA qualified.
  • Proven background as a general practitioner within a small or mid-tier firm.
  • Track record of managing varied portfolios and building strong client relationships.
  • A strong communicator who can provide support to the wider team.
  • Ambitious with a desire for active involvement in strategic planning.
