Due to internal promotion, Kitson Associates is hiring an experienced Technical Manager for a successful housing developer in Northamptonshire. Reporting to the Technical Director, you'll oversee design and utility coordination, ensuring approvals and timely information flow between consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & coordinate technical design, utilities, and approvals
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, NHBC & sustainability standards
- Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and internal departments
- Manage budgets, reports & performance targets
- Resolve technical & construction challenges efficiently
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years in construction/development
- Strong technical knowledge (Building Regs, NHBC, planning laws)
- Experience in managing teams & partnerships
- Degree in Planning or related field with RTPI eligibility preferred.
