As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Contentious Probate Solicitor to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Our dynamic, well-established and friendly Private Client Team is looking for an enthusiastic, driven and highly skilled individual to assist them in offering exceptional legal services to their clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals, handling complex and challenging disputes involving wills, estates, trusts, and inheritance.

You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of probate disputes, including challenges to wills, inheritance claims, trust disputes, and contentious estate administration. You will have the opportunity to take on significant client-facing responsibilities, representing clients in sensitive and high-stakes legal matters, while benefiting from a collaborative and supportive environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing, dynamic department, handling high-profile and complex probate disputes. You will work closely with both high-net-worth individuals and families, providing expert legal advice and representation on a wide range of contentious matters.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

You will be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE in contentious probate matters. You must have an in-depth knowledge of the legal frameworks governing wills, estates, trusts, and inheritance, including the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. You will have proven experience in handling contentious probate matters and complex litigation. You must have strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues to clients. You will be client-focused with a strategic, solutions-driven approach.

Qualifications:

You must be a qualified solicitor with experience in contentious probate matters or a related area of law.
