Job Description:
Our client is a premier placement agent specializing in private equity, venture capital, and private credit fundraising. Their team has a strong track record of successfully partnering with leading investment firms to raise capital and execute strategic secondary transactions.
They are seeking a Secondaries Associate to join their team in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Support: Assist in the execution of secondary transactions, including LP stake sales, fund restructurings, and direct secondary deals.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective secondary transactions, including financial analysis, market research, and operational assessments.
- Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate secondary investment opportunities and support transaction structuring.
- Market Research: Perform in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the private equity secondary market.
- Deal Sourcing: Support the sourcing of secondary transactions through industry networking, relationship building, and market analysis.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed investment memos, pitch materials, and other transaction-related documentation.
- Client Interaction: Assist in managing relationships with clients, including general partners, limited partners, and other stakeholders, to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
