Role: Commercial Director
Salary: £108,160
Location: London, Camden; hybrid up to 2 days per week
This is a critical moment to join the Roundhouse as we continue to grow and evolve, leading the way as a dynamic arts and performance venue. As Commercial Director, you will be responsible for driving profit generation from the Roundhouse’s commercial activities including music gigs, corporate events and bar sales alongside other revenue sources.
This role will work closely with the Chief Executive & Artistic Director, Marcus Davey, to lead on commercial strategy, brand and marketing, devising and delivering plans to grow and diversify our income streams. Your leadership will ensure Diversity and Inclusion is at the heart of recruitment across your teams, providing inclusive and effective development and performance management.
The successful candidate will bring a strong track record of delivering profitable activities across multiple income streams in an audience-focused industry, demonstrating an ability to deliver data-informed decisions which drive growth. You will be an expert negotiator, able to convey complex ideas, with a good instinct for identifying business opportunities both via internal change as well as external partners.
We are looking for someone who can deftly navigate the requirement to contribute to strategy as part of an effective executive team, while remaining highly attuned to their leadership of teams and individuals, motivating and inspiring to maximise performance across the directorate.
