Quality Assurance Officer – Pharmaceuticals North London Permanent Position £40,000 – £43,000 + £8000 shift allowance Are you a quality assurance professional, having worked within Pharmaceuticals / Biopharmaceuticals? Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in the pharmaceutical industry? Our client, a leader in delivering high quality, processed biological materials is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all aspects of Quality Assurance activities are completed to the highest standards, adhering to all applicable regulations and best practices. This role is offered on a shift basis. Key responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Officer – Pharmaceuticals include: * Working within and supporting a small Quality Assurance team in line with GxP, Quality and Health & Safety standards. * Managing the Quality Management System and associated documents. * Acting as the primary contact for QA across site. * Providing support during major quality investigations, internal audits, and support the hosting of on-site regulatory audits. * Analysing deviations and customer complaints to identify trends and suggest improvement strategies. * Coordinating quality files and review Batch Process Records. * Managing risks to product quality, data integrity and patient safety throughout the product lifestyle. To be considered as a Quality Assurance Officer – Pharmaceuticals, you will need the following skills or experience * Prior experience working in a Quality Assurance Role, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry. * Demonstrable experience of working with quality documentation and quality management systems. * Extensive knowledge of sterile aseptic filling and packing manufacturing process. * Experience conducting root-cause analysis and investigating deviations and GDP incidents. * Prior experience or working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice. * Strong communication and team-work skills, able to cross functionally communicate with internal departments and customers. * Previous experience in a clean room or manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous. * A BSc/MSc in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent experience. * A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
