Job Description:
We are a leading design consultancy firm based in Datchet, specialising in delivering innovative and custom-engineered solutions across various industries. We are seeking a talented Electronics Engineer (various level) to join our dynamic team, working closely with clients and multi-disciplinary teams to design, develop, and bring electronic products from concept to production.
Responsibilities:
- Circuit Design & PCB Layout: Develop schematic designs and layouts using Altium.
- Firmware Development: Write embedded firmware using IAR, Keil, or Eclipse IDE.
- Embedded Programming: Develop efficient code in C, C++, or Python for microcontroller-based systems.
- Prototype Testing & Commissioning: Validate and troubleshoot prototypes, ensuring they meet design requirements.
- Verification & Reporting: Conduct thorough testing of designs, document results, and provide detailed reports.
- Client Interaction & Collaboration: Present designs and progress to clients, and collaborate closely with mechanical engineers and designers to meet project goals.
Requirements:
- Degree: An excellent degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science Engineering.
- Embedded Systems: Proven experience in embedded electronics design and programming.
- Analogue Electronics: Strong knowledge of ADC, OpAmp, and analogue circuit design.
- Power Supply Design: Solid understanding of isolated and non-isolated power supply design.
- Simulation Tools: Experience with circuit simulation tools such as LTspice or TINA.
- Microcontroller Experience: Hands-on experience with STM32, NXP, NRF52, ESP32, PIC, or similar microcontrollers.
- Communication Protocols: Familiarity with RS232, RS485, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, 1-wire, MIPI, and LVDS.
- EMC Design: Practical experience in design for EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility).
- Problem-Solving Skills: Self-motivated with the ability to tackle new and challenging problems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

- Medical Device Experience: Experience in working with medical devices.
- Regulatory Standards: Knowledge of regulatory standards such as IEC 60601, IEC 62304, and ISO 14971.
- Embedded software development using RTOS (ThreadX, FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS, etc.).
