The Company: You’ll work for an engineering services provider in the water sector who is part of a larger NERS accredited ICP company that operates in both the water and energy sectors. They work with several major water companies across the UK with a broad portfolio of long-term frameworks in place that extend throughout AMP8.
The Role: As a Mechanical Design Engineer in the water industry, you would be responsible for supporting all aspects of project design and delivery, from tender development to project planning and coordination.
You’ll assist in the creation of mechanical designs and specifications, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.
You will also contribute to troubleshooting and ensure the proper implementation of project controls, documentation, and procedures.
You’ll attend regular site visits to scope, verify, and resolve issues on both potential and active projects, to help ensure smooth execution and timely resolution of challenges.
You will join their Southern team to work on a range of clean and wastewater projects, both infrastructure and non-infrastructure based. You will be working on a variety of projects for their clients in the South as well as projects across the UK.
