DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking an Inventory First Line Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- To plan, supervise and report upon the work activities of the Stock Control Team
- Ensuring the daily activities of the Stock team are completed in a timely manner
- Supporting the customer with any stock queries and investigating stock discrepancies
- Communicating and monitoring KPI’s within the team
- Conducting probation reviews, performance reviews, absence management and investigations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Experience in Inventory or Quality Control role is desirable
- Previous supervisory or people management experience within a supply chain environment
- IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems. Red Prairie experience would be advantageous
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
