We are working on behalf of one of our very well-known companies, who have a great opportunity in their workplace. This is for a CNC operator, and they are looking for someone who is experienced in handling glass, with a working knowledge of how to use CNC/CAD oriented glass processing machines, either with experience on Intermac, Bottero, Bavolloni, etc. CNC glass routing/polishing machines or experience with vertical CNC glass drilling platforms such as Schmarl, Intermac, and Skill Glass, etc.
This would mean day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Reading and inputting drawings from paperwork orders into CAD software
- Setting up and operating daily CNC router/polishing machine to fulfill orders
- Measuring/calibrating tooling and setting up on CNC machine and tooling software
- Monitoring and maintaining quality control while processing
- Carrying out daily and weekly maintenance
- Organizing and updating the order system
The above covers all areas that you would need to be capable of if you have experience with CNC machinery and glass.
