As a maintenance team leader, you will be focusing on leading a multi-disciplined team to improve Reliability & OEE performance.

Specific responsibilities for the maintenance team leader include:

  1. The development/implementation of a computerised Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.
  2. Development and implementation of repair activities – working within production requirements to improve plant availability.
  3. Liaise with and organise external contractors, ensuring they work to strict safety guidelines and meet Ibstock’s requirements.
  4. Hands-on role but elements of desk-based work as well.

What We’re Looking for:

  • At least 5 years’ experience working as a maintenance engineer.
  • Must be qualified to Level 3 in an Engineering Discipline.
  • Ideally be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias.
  • Ideally have 2 years + as a maintenance team leader.
  • If mechanically biased – need to have a reasonable level of electrical knowledge as a maintenance engineer.
  • Experience with any of the following advantageous: Conveyors, Kilns, dryers, crushers, robots.
