A great opportunity to join a globally operating and successful logistics/automation company as a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer working at a well-known retailer’s automated distribution centre in South Derbyshire. This role will suit Maintenance Engineers located in Burton on Trent, Lichfield, Tamworth, or South Derbyshire. Shift pattern provides 7 full days off every 28 days!
The facility is 30 metres in height and over 600,000 sq. ft with extensive loading areas and substantial automated systems for you to work on.
- Salary of c£44k + Healthcare + Pension
- Continental shift pattern (12 hour days and nights) (1 full week off every 28 days!)
Day To Day Activities Of a Maintenance Engineer Include:
- Reactive maintenance
- Planned maintenance
- Electro-mechanical engineering
- Controls fault finding
- Problem analysis and continuous improvement
Requirements Of Maintenance Engineer:
- Ideally fully apprenticeship trained with Level 3 engineering qualifications
- Good level of electrical and mechanical knowledge from a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Working knowledge of PLC control systems, desirably Siemens S7
- Experience of automated materials handling systems would also be an advantage but not essential
- Happy to work a continental shift pattern with days and nights.
- Ok to work at heights when needed (via harnesses and full training etc)
