This is a permanent role paying a basic salary of £30,000 – £35,000 DOE + Commission. Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client's recruiter customer base. You will proactively manage a pipeline of recruiter prospects, self-generate leads through various channels, and oversee the full 360-degree sales cycle from lead generation to closing new customers. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct thorough market research to identify and prospect potential customers that align with our client’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) in the recruitment industry. * Utilise various prospecting techniques such as cold calling, email outreach, networking, and leveraging online platforms to generate leads. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target companies to understand their needs and challenges. * Effectively communicate the value proposition of our client's marketplace, demonstrating how the platform benefits recruiters. * Qualify leads by conducting needs assessments, understanding customer requirements, and determining suitability. * Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the platform’s features and advantages. * Develop and present tailored proposals and pricing solutions based on customer needs, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to meet sales targets. * Collaborate closely with the customer success team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to onboarding and implementation. * Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. * Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to the Commercial Director.
