Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior Quality Engineer to join our growing Quality team. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineering graduate looking to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in Quality Management within the medical device and consumer goods sectors.
Reporting directly to our Quality Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting engineering design and medical device development projects providing direct support in compliance and regulatory activities connected to our quality management system processes whilst engaging in process improvements in key areas such as quality assurance, quality control and process development.
Principal Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Help maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and 13485 and associated regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure quality is embedded in all stages of product development.
- Contribute to process improvements and drive efficiency across quality operations.
- Support the tracking and management of Quality Incidents and Non-Conformances.
- Assist in the preparation for client audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Learn and apply internal auditing and continuous improvement techniques to enhance processes.
- Participate in risk management activities, ensuring quality risks are identified and mitigated.
- Aid in the development of training materials to improve quality awareness across teams.
