As one of our Senior Care Assistants, you will be responsible for assessing the individuals needs and formulating person-centred care plans, ensuring that medical, physical, and emotional needs are met. Administering medication safely is paramount, all our senior care assistants are provided with additional training to ensure competency and knowledge of the medication used in our homes., * To assess, plan, deliver and evaluate a high personalised standard of Nursing care which meets the individuals needs and the high standards expected at Orchard Care Homes.

You will be a team player who will lead, supervise, support and develop the care team.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as will you be closely liaising with external professionals, individuals and relatives.
You will have previous care experience, within Older People’s care or within a dementia setting. It is preferrable to have a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. However, if you are qualified to Level 2, we will support you to achieve your Level 3 via our career pathway.
