Job Description:

Part-time Financial Controller wanted in or around Guildford (within a 45 minute radius from the location preferred)

About the role:

The role is to work with our client in their charity business. The basics in the finance function are covered but there is a need for an experienced and commercially-minded Financial Controller to help move the business forward, on a part-time basis.

About You:

You should be a qualified and experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a charity. Preferably, you are already self-employed and available quickly with at least 2 days of availability per week.

Your expertise should include:

  1. Management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations
  2. Experience in using Xero, Sage50, QuickBooks
  3. Experienced Excel user including pivots, sumifs, and graphs
  4. Proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders
  5. You must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years)

Required experience: charity experience is essential

As this role is two days a week (self-employed basis) it could work alongside other client work

Rate of pay: £35 per hour

Location: Guildford – Onsite 2 days p/week
