Part-time Financial Controller wanted in or around Guildford (within a 45 minute radius from the location preferred)
About the role:
The role is to work with our client in their charity business. The basics in the finance function are covered but there is a need for an experienced and commercially-minded Financial Controller to help move the business forward, on a part-time basis.
About You:
You should be a qualified and experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a charity. Preferably, you are already self-employed and available quickly with at least 2 days of availability per week.
Your expertise should include:
- Management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations
- Experience in using Xero, Sage50, QuickBooks
- Experienced Excel user including pivots, sumifs, and graphs
- Proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders
- You must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years)
Required experience: charity experience is essential
As this role is two days a week (self-employed basis) it could work alongside other client work
Rate of pay: £35 per hour
Location: Guildford – Onsite 2 days p/week
