About The Venue

  • Roof East operates from April to October, with a team of 50+ Team Members in the heart of the Stratford.

About The Role

We’re on the lookout for a trailblazing Assistant Manager with a proven track record in high-volume bar settings. Your leadership, organisational skills and passion for hospitality will be key to maintaining standards and delivering operational objectives in this role.

As Assistant Manager – Bar Lead, this role takes charge of multiple bars. If you’re a dynamic communicator who loves being at the forefront with customers, this role is your stage. Leading a team of 55, with a focus on bar operations, you’ll collaborate with the General Manager and wider management team. From delivering third-party events to championing the venue, your role is pivotal in ensuring a safe, dynamic space for top-notch drinks and entertainment.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A proven track record within a fast-paced bar environment and is great with driving world-class guest experiences
  • An all-star multitasker
  • Superb relationship-building skills
  • A passion for developing the team by facilitating training and giving constant feedback
  • Someone self-motivated, looking to learn and grow with us
  • Commercially minded and a knack for driving operational efficiencies
  • You will manage the performance of your team to deliver the highest standards and customer service in a busy environment, delivering operational excellence in everything you do
  • You will be a passionate people manager, analytical in your approach and calm under pressure
  • A team player, with a hands-on approach working towards a common goal.
