Assistant Site Manager New Build Housing

ITS Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced Residential Assistant Site Manager with NHBC experience to join a reputable team working on housing association projects. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers the chance to transition into a full-time role. Key Responsibilities: * Assist with the daily management of residential construction sites, ensuring efficient operations and timely project completion. * Supervise subcontractors, ensuring that all work meets high standards and aligns with project specifications. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across the site. * Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. * Coordinate site resources, including materials and equipment, to ensure workflow efficiency. * Maintain accurate documentation of site activities, such as site diaries and progress reports. * Assist with quality control inspections and snagging. * Support the Site Manager in managing project budgets and controlling costs. * Ensure all work complies with NHBC standards and guidelines. Essential Requirements: * Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager in residential construction. * Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and experience working with them. * Proven experience in managing housing association projects. * Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. * Experience managing subcontractors and liaising with stakeholders. * In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations. * SMSTS or SSSTS certification (preferred). * First Aid qualification (preferred). * Valid CSCS card. * A proactive, solution-driven attitude.
