As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of mid-high tier clients on a day-to-day basis. The role is extremely varied and will consist of client meetings, presentations, creating and executing bespoke exposure plans, providing detailed post-campaign reporting, and sourcing exclusive content commercials for Vouchercloud and Groupon domains. You will need to be confident, articulate, and personable with a can-do attitude. This role requires an understanding of affiliate marketing.
You’ll spend time on the following:
- Maintaining direct client/merchant relationships with your portfolio and their network/agency contacts if applicable.
- Pitching campaigns and opportunities to clients.
- Establishing strong connections within the online marketing and affiliate industry.
- Analysing and reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual account performance.
- Travelling to industry events when required.
- Building new client relationships and maintaining them.
- Understanding a client’s needs and working with other teams such as PPC, SEO, Comms to achieve them.
- Forecasting your portfolio’s earnings on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
- Identifying new revenue opportunities with new and existing clients.
We’re excited about you if you have:
- Experience within the affiliate marketing industry.
- Extensive experience handling accounts and coordinating digital campaigns.
- Experience in online media negotiations & pitches.
- An understanding of SEO and PPC.
- An understanding of digital domains and their business/revenue models.
- A working knowledge of affiliate/partner tracking.
- Worked in a sales/business development role within the online retail sector.
- Experience in pitching to clients; you are a consultative manager rather than a hard seller.
- Proven experience in managing and growing an affiliate program.
- Be commercially and analytically minded, with strong financial evaluation and performance marketing management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to develop positive internal and external relationships.
- Confidence with a positive, outgoing approach.
- The ability to manage multiple projects.
