Join our dedicated team at Portland Charity where we are committed to providing exceptional psychological services and support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). We are an outstanding provider and hold the coveted Advanced Specialist Accreditation from the National Autistic Society.
The ASD/ADHD Assessor role will be a freelance role responsible for administering ADOS or ADI-R assessments in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with exceptional communication skills and an ability to build strong working relationships with members of staff across all departments as well as external organisations. Whilst parts of this role can be completed remotely, the successful candidate will also need to attend college in person to take part in assessments.
Within this role, you will be involved in conducting and reviewing autism assessments; analysing results to produce diagnostic reports; and working with a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to review reports for individuals suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
You will use your in depth understanding of ASD to support people throughout the diagnostic process, and you will play a key part in the development of support plans, using your clinical judgment and experience to make diagnostic decisions.

Demonstrate further specialist training/experience through having received a minimum of 50 hours clinical supervision over 18 months.
This is a freelance position. The pay is up to £450 per assessment, dependent on both experience and qualifications.
