Job Description

We are seeking a Consultant/Senior Consultant to join our Real Estate Advisory team. The focus of this role is delivering business cases and advisory services for major real estate construction projects, particularly in the public sector.

You will work with public and private sector clients to develop estate strategies, conduct feasibility studies, and author business cases in alignment with the HM Treasury Green Book (5 Case Model) . The ideal candidate will have experience working strategically on construction or infrastructure projects and be eager to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and delivery of business cases (SOC/OBC/FBC) in alignment with the HM Treasury Green Book.
  • Development of estate and property strategies for large-scale real estate portfolios.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and supporting investment decisions for major construction projects.
  • Engaging with senior client stakeholders to provide strategic advice and build long-term relationships.
  • Analyzing large and complex datasets to inform evidence-based solutions.
  • Supporting change management and implementation across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of outputs to meet client expectations.

  • Experience in developing and delivering business cases (SOC/OBC/FBC) for construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with the HM Treasury Green Book and the 5 Case Model.
  • Strong understanding of estate and property strategies, feasibility studies, and investment appraisals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and presentation capabilities.
  • Financial literacy, with the ability to conduct financial analysis and appraise investment options.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and travel as needed.
  • Key Personal Characteristics: Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented with a high level of integrity. A strong team player with a collaborative mindset who demonstrates resilience, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Able to build trust and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., RICS, APM, MSP, Prince2).
  • Better Business Case Accreditation.
  • Experience working on public sector infrastructure or real estate projects.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or Power BI.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and a commitment to learning.
