An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing, family-run business as a Workshop Manager and Health and Safety Coordinator in Twyford.
Working cloesly with the directors, you will be an integral member of the team, ensuring the smooth running of the workshop at all times.
Key duties:

Ensure tools, machinery and forklift trucks undergo planned maintenance and thorough examinations

Ensure PPE stocks are kept up-to-date and records are maintained for the issuing of PPE

Oversee the H&S aspects of our business, ensuring compliance with legal requirements

Create and regularly review Risk Assessments, COSHH/DSEAR assessments and Method Statements

Monthly safety inspections for all workshops

Conduct noise, vibration and manual handling assessments

HR responsibilities including training requirements

Conduct accident and near-miss investigations and ensure suitable control measures have been implemented

Previous working experience of Health and Safety would be advantageous

Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Happy to b hands on and get involved with amintenance and other duties across the business

UK driving licence
