Information about the Role: Occupational Therapist at Elizabeth your duties will include the following:

  • Composing and articulating occupational therapy reports based on assessment and treatment.

  • Responsible for the clinical Occupational Therapy provision for patients.

  • To oversee the activity needs of the patients in and beyond care, ensuring that support is offered to care workers and activity staff to ensure adequate activity provision for patients.

  • To undertake occupational therapy assessments and treatment.

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in line with company and professional standards and provide activity/audit reports as required.

  • To support the organisation, delivery, and monitoring of the service.

  • Carry continuing responsibility for the co-ordination and assessment of patients’ occupational therapy needs, along with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapy.

  • Assess and provide equipment to aid rehabilitation and improve quality of life, ensuring that appropriate instruction, training and safety awareness is given where needed.

  • Promote maximum independence by selecting and constructing therapies according to needs

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy

  • Registration with appropriate professional body (HCPC)

  • Someone who has a real passion for caring and helping people.

  • At least 6-months experience of working as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
