We are seeking a skilled and motivated qualified Crane Engineer to join a leading company specialising in the maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and hoists. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong electro-mechanical knowledge and first-hand experience in a similar field.
What’s on Offer:
- Basic Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 per annum working a 40-hour week
- Overtime: Paid on travel (home to home)
- Company van, fuel card, tools, and PPE provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of Overhead, Gantry cranes and hoists to ensure optimal functionality.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to maintain high equipment standards.
- Attend customer sites promptly to diagnose and resolve breakdowns.
- Working on a call out rota (Bonus payable) and hours worked during call outs are paid at double time.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Strong electrical knowledge and relevant certifications (e.g., 18th Edition).
- Electrically qualified ideally apprentice trained with NVQ qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in a similar role (e.g., cranes, powered access, plant machinery, or material handling equipment).
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
- Ability to work at heights and familiarity with LOLER regulations.
