About the Business
An opportunity to be a Group Financial Accountant for a global business based in Birmingham, who really look after their employees and have strong family values.
Main Duties:
- Annual Report Delivery: Produce the consolidated annual report.
- Technical Support: Provide technical accounting support and advice to divisional finance teams.
- Process Improvements: Drive enhancements in systems and processes.
- Monthly Reporting: Ensure accurate consolidated results for monthly reporting.
- Review and Resolution: Review monthly submissions from divisional finance teams and address any issues.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams in Group Finance (Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Reporting, Assurance) to share knowledge and resolve issues.
- Audit Coordination: Work with auditors to facilitate a smooth annual audit of the head office companies and the consolidated group.
Location / Office / Culture
The role is hybrid with 2/3 days in a newly renovated office based in Birmingham. You will be working within a lovely team who are used to bringing in and working with ACA qualified accountants.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA certified.
