Planning your work in conjunction with your direct line manager on a daily basis to ensure delivery of all samples are met or any issues are identified and communicated to the Business Development Managers.

Customer agreed recipes are reproduced.

Management of sample requests.

Creation/amendment of NPD data sheets when required.

Updating daily sample log for business wide escalation.

Assisting Development Technologists in producing samples for customer briefs.

Ensuring awareness to internal and external customer audits and new standards set by the business.

Collection of raw materials from the factory when required.

Stock rotation of ingredients used within the development department.

Good standards of housekeeping being maintained and adherence to best practice to maintain the food safety, quality and legality of all samples and activities within the NPD centre.

Any other relevant and appropriate tasks as per the needs of the business.

The ability to communicate and written and verbally in English.

The successful applicant will have a real passion and interest in food, ideally with previous experience of working within an NPD kitchen environment, food manufacturing or with a catering background.

Candidates must be fully literate and numerate with clear, concise and effective communication skills to efficiently work with external customers and colleagues.

Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team with an open and honest manner. A can-do attitude and a flexible approach to the role are both essential.
