Taylor Made Employment are delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a Hygiene Manager to join an amazing company based just outside of York. This company are specialists in their field and are looking to expand their team due to the high volumes of orders they receive.
Salary: £35,000pa
Shift Pattern: 10pm- 6am
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the location, your own transportation is required.
Job Responsibilities:
- To ensure all aspects of the hygiene service are carried out and maintained to the required standard.
- To maintain detailed cleaning instructions and schedules for every hygiene activity that meets the requirements of the required safety standard.
- To conduct compliance audits / inspections of internal hygiene standards and documentation.
- Conduct COSHH assessments, risk assessments and document safe systems of work for all hygiene tasks.
- Ensure all tasks are conducted in accordance with all legislative, company and site health & safety policies, and ensure that all hazards, accidents / incidents are reported and investigated in a timely manner.
- Planning the work of the on-site hygiene staff to drive continual improvements in hygiene standards.
- Develop and audit hygiene schedules and work instructions to ensure all regulatory inspections and certification audits are passed.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience of working within a compliance and standards driven environment – British Retail Consortium (BRC).
- Understanding of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.
- Knowledge of recent hygiene legislation.
- Aware of Health and Safety legislation and regulations.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Food Safety Certificate.
- Experience working within a Hygiene Department in the food industry.
