The Belfry Hotel & Resort is an award-winning hotel with over 300 luxurious bedrooms and suites, multiple restaurants and bars, event and meeting spaces, a leisure club, and spa. Our three golf courses, including The Brabazon, are recognised as world-class and host this year's Betfred British Masters. We are embarking on an exciting new chapter with a major expansion and renovation project, due for completion in Autumn 2025, with an investment exceeding £80 million. This includes a new event space, The Masters Suite, 149 additional bedrooms, a state-of-the-art leisure club, and more. About The Role
As the Senior Head of Meeting & Events Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our meetings and events department during a historic period for The Belfry. Your leadership will ensure we continue to deliver exceptional events and exceed guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire operation across 24 conference rooms and the new 920-seater Masters Suite.
- Drive revenue by identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and developing sales strategies.
- Lead and motivate the largest department within the hotel, ensuring seamless execution of all events.
- Implement initiatives to uphold high standards of guest experience from enquiry to event completion.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Anticipate industry trends, optimise facilities, and seek growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior management, sales, and other departments to maintain industry-leading standards.
