MERJE is collaborating with a prominent Insurance business in the search for a committed Compliance Analyst. As the Compliance Analyst you will lead the evaluation of insurer and Delegated Authority agreements while championing meticulous management of the TOBA Register. Your expertise will enhance the drive for regulatory compliance and streamline operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the review and secure sign-offs for insurer agreements
- Oversee and maintain the TOBA register, conducting periodic checks
- Monitor and review Delegated Authority Agreements, ensuring adherence to stipulated terms
- Stay updated with regulatory shifts, adjusting client TOBAs and agreements accordingly
- Undertake due diligence on potential producing brokers, establishing and monitoring agreements
- Facilitate information collation for audits, reviews, and approvals
- Engage in profit share and other agreement reviews, emphasizing client transparency
- Contribute to the Annual Compliance Plan delivery and participate in regulatory change projects
- Collaborate closely with Placement, Broking, and Operations Teams to refine TOBA management processes
Requirements:
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with analytical prowess
- Proven organisational skills, adept at managing tasks and prioritising workload
- Comprehensive understanding of general insurance and financial services
- Ability to discern when matters require escalation
- Agility in adapting to evolving priorities and conditions
- Ongoing or completed industry accreditation such as CII/ICA is advantageous, though not mandatory
