We are working with a firm of Accountants who are looking to expand their team, this is due to new clients, exciting growth within the practice. Our client is looking for experienced accounts individuals who are passionate about working in practice and helping others with all of their accountancy needs.
The role requires the successful candidates to be able to hit the ground running with all areas of accountancy, you will be looking after a portfolio of clients across various sectors and industry types, alot being within the creative arena, media area and other exciting and forward thinking industries.
Day to day will be as follows;
* Year end accounts and HMRC filing.
* Management accounts on-going as/when client needs.
* VAT – calculation and submission.
* PAYE for employees.
* Self-Cert tax submissions for self-employed/directors.
* Tax planning and Business finance assistance.
* Book-keeping duties.
The above is not exhausted, there may be other tasks and requirements needed. The successful candidate will be expected to build rapport with their portfolio and offer best advise and best practice. Good accountancy software experience is an added bonus, systems like Xero, Quick-books, Kashflow etc…
Good IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft 365. Good use of Microsoft Excel.
Great opportunity, our client is open to offering additional learning, which may include AAT4, CIMA, ACCA.
Ideally the successful candidate will be at least AAT3, ideally 4, but the experience from a similar environment is more integral to the role.
Working week is Monday – Friday 9-5pm , however hybrid will be considered for 1-2 days per week.
