Job Opportunity: Operational Excellence Specialist Location: Chester, UKPosition Type: Contract (Inside IR35), Site BasedDuration: 3 Months (Full Time)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join a manufacturing company based in Chester on an interim basis. As part of this role, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement, delivering process improvements, as well as helping increase productivity and reducing waste.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver Lean Six Sigma projects to improve quality, safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Coach and mentor staff in problem-solving methodologies, value stream mapping, and waste elimination.Design and implement enterprise excellence metrics and training programs (e.g., White/Yellow/Green Belt certifications).Facilitate root cause analysis sessions for critical business issues.Required Experience & QualificationsCertified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Master Black Belt preferred).Proven track record of driving change and delivering process improvements in manufacturing environments.Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean tools and systems thinking.Knowledge of operational excellence frameworks (e.g., Shingo, or similar) is highly desirable.If you are interested in this position, please apply using the link.
