We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator on behalf of our client, a respected and growing organisation within the Facilities Management sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware professional with strong experience in preparing cost estimates for hard and/or soft FM services.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the pre-contract process, producing competitive and accurate tenders that contribute to the company’s continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for a range of FM services, including planned, reactive and project works
  • Analyse drawings, specifications and scope documentation to develop accurate pricing models
  • Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to gather relevant data and quotations
  • Attend site visits and client meetings when necessary to inform estimates
  • Identify commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry pricing, market trends and labour/material costs
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Estimator within the Facilities Management or Building Services sectors
  • Sound understanding of hard and/or soft FM services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software tools
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
