JOB PURPOSE
To support within the Key Functions of Operational Delivery, managing a bulk transfer site, managing 3 drivers with the delivery of LPG. Ensuring the safe running and effective management of the site. Ensuring we meet the deliveries focused on our domestic and commercial customers.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for leading and motivating a team to deliver excellent service to customers, in line with requirements and business strategy.
- Effectively managing the sites in accordance with business and legislative requirements.
- Managing safety in accordance with Safety Management Systems to meet compliance driving a safety culture.
- Adhering to transport compliance, including vehicle maintenance, drivers hour and tachograph regulations in addition to working time directive regulations.
- Managing compliance of company processes and procedures relating to sales, stocks, financial controls within the operating system (CODAS).
JOB HOLDER REQUIREMENTS
- Transport Management knowledge
- People Management within KPI’s and SLA’s
- Safety Management
- Driving Experience within HGV (Class 1 preferred, but Class 2 essential)
- CPC
- Computer literacy (Excel focused)
