Maths Teacher

Are you a passionate Maths teacher looking to make a change? Flourish Education are recruiting a secondary Maths teacher. Our client is based in Central Birmingham with an "outstanding" Ofsted rating and has a great ethos and staff culture.

This role is due to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year. The ideal candidate will be confident teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4.

As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:

• Teach Maths throughout KS3 and KS4.

• Planning, marking, and assessment required.

• Comply with the school behaviour policy.

• Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans

• Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.

• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills

• Specialist in Maths

• Confident teaching Maths up to GCSE

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Early career Teachers (ECT’s) are encouraged to apply.

• Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills.

• Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.

• Previous school experience teaching Maths.

• Competitive salary- Day rate of £153.84 to £220.00 which equates to £29,998 to £42,900 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
