EY is seeking a Manager to become part of our Credit Risk team. With industry-wide developments fueling rapid growth in Credit Risk, it presents an ideal opportunity to join our esteemed, diverse group. Your key responsibilities
The successful Credit Risk Manager will lead client engagements and internal projects. You will take the lead in building relationships and identifying and escalating potential business opportunities for EY. You will also help create a collaborative and inclusive working environment by practicing active listening skills and respecting differences. As a Manager in the team you can expect to be involved in the following activities:
- Managing a team on Credit Transformation projects, providing support to junior team members, ensuring effective communication, timely delivery and reporting on progress to senior stakeholders
- Preparing and presenting external reports that will be delivered to clients and other parties
- Taking a lead role on project planning, budgeting and internal reporting
- Fostering strong client relationships and building internal networks within advisory services
- Driving business development opportunities, contributing to proposals and playing a key role in winning work
- Contributing to the development of market-facing solutions
- Coaching more junior colleagues, conducting staff performance reviews and contributing to feedback, providing training and mentoring where required
- Actively pursuing ongoing personal skill development
- Promoting an inclusive and positive working environment
Skills and attributes for success
We’re looking for problem solvers, with strong business and credit risk insights and demonstrable transformation experience. You should have proven project delivery and report writing skills. You should also be comfortable taking ownership as well as working as a team member who has a real desire to share responsibility and provide support to your colleagues, whilst maintaining constant communication on the progress of engagements.
To qualify for the role you must have some or all of the following:
- Recent leadership experience managing high performing teams to deliver outstanding results
- Experience of end-to-end credit risk strategies, policies, governance, and management information, particularly in retail, commercial, or corporate lending
- Knowledge of advanced credit decisioning, including innovative methodologies and big data utilization
- Insights into intelligent lending processes and automation
- Understanding of lending and credit risk technology solutions
- Knowledge of credit monitoring and collections, including early warning systems and analytics-driven optimization
- A solid grasp of the credit risk regulatory framework
