Retail Design Consultants take clients from the initial ideas stage of a retail fit out, through design and selection, quotation and then to delivery. Ensuring the client is happy and the project delivered on budget and profitably for the group. How will you be the change? That’s how deliver value for our customers, and building systems that lead the way And as a Retail Design Consultant with Jordon Group, you’ll do it by… – Become an expert in the retail industry relating to Petrol Forecourts, Convenience, Farm Shops, Coffee Shops, Fast Food and other opportunities such as office refits, high street retailers etc. – Develop the skills necessary to complete initial site surveys (using site audit pro). – Understand how to work with other specialist tradesman (electricians, plumbers, builders, principal contractors). Communication skills are key here. – Work effectively with internal teams and individuals at Jordon Group. – Understand the turnkey shop fit process including all elements we deliver (shop fronts, joinery, electrical, lighting, plumbing, shelving, counters, back of house, refrigeration, heating & cooling, ventilation). Extensive training and support will be provided. – Be proficient in writing accurate quotes. – Have the skills necessary to ‘sell’ effectively. To seal the deal. We will support and nurture this. – Have the customer service & people skills necessary to nurture long term customer relationships. – Have project management skills required to deliver successful projects. – Have market research skills, understand what motivates our target clients, and key industry drivers. – Have Health and Safety Training skills (SPA Passport, Asbestos Awareness and others TBC). What does it take? If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Retail Design Consultant, you’ll need… – Either have existing CAD training and certification, or undertake the training. – Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Onedrive/Sharepoint). All training can be supported on the job. – Our systems such as Epix. – Use of our in-house CRM (Customer Relationship Management). This is where we manage all client touchpoints, sales pipeline, sales conversion rate, active sales etc. – Full UK valid driving license. – The role will require frequent travel and some overnight stays. – Commercial mindset. – Time management skills (general project management). Working arrangements In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work hybrid working; depending on the needs of clients we would expect this would be field based three to four days a week, home office based one to two. Monthly meetings at Head Office in Oldham. Full time hours 40 per week. Monday-Friday 8.30am to -5.00pm. What can we offer you?
