Dartmouth Partners are excited to be working with a leading investment firm to find a Senior Management Accountant.You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance department. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in month-end processes, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards. This role is ideal for someone studying towards an accounting qualification.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Process accounts payable and receivable, and perform bank reconciliations.Maintain general ledger and journal entries with accuracy and timeliness.Support month-end and year-end close processes.Help prepare financial statements and management accounts.Reconcile intercompany accounts and investment transactions.Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.Prepare VAT returns and support tax filing processes.Maintain organized financial records and documentation.Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting projects as required.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Studying toward an accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar; familiarity with investment accounting platforms is a plus).Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.Eagerness to learn and grow within the finance and investment industry.
