Performance collective Snap-Elastic are looking for two male singer/performers, inclusive of trans and cis men, for immersive performance for teenagers with additional support needs.
We’re looking for two male singer/performers, inclusive of trans and cis men, for Dussskk – an immersive, interdisciplinary performance made with, and for, sound-seeking teenagers with additional support needs. The piece brings together embodied singing and vocal experimentation, movement and sensory design to explore the difficult transitional periods that we experience during adolescence.
We are looking for:
1 x bass/baritone/low singer
1 x tenor/mid-range singer
Rehearsals:
15th – 26th September, 10:00 – 17:00
13th – 24th October, 10:00 – 17:00
Technical Rehearsal & Previews:
27th – 31st October, exact times TBC (not to exceed Equity/ITC maximum daily and weekly hours)
Performances:
w/c 3rd November exact days & times TBC (not to exceed Equity/ITC maximum daily and weekly hours)
We require full availability for all rehearsal and performance dates.
Fee & Expenses: £700 per week (Above Equity minimum & Real Living Wage) plus holiday pay. Accommodation provided if staying away from home. Travel covered if travelling over 25 miles to the venue.
